I have chosen to celebrate Valentine’s Day by doing small acts of kindness, having been inspired by the 100 acts of kindness that I’ve encountered on other blogs. To be honest, I think I’m generally a kind sort of person, but having to think of a 100 individual acts of kindness stressed me out, so I’ve opted for a much tamer approach. But my heart’s (?!) in the right place.
My acts so far are:
Making ‘love you’ notes for my daughter’s lunch box (I started these last week, and my daughter loves them-she’s saved every one so far.);
Giving my son extra cuddles and tickles;
Putting my iPad down in the evening before bedtime so I can give my children my full attention;
Giving my husband a spontaneous cuddle;
I’ve gone for small, but manageable acts of kindness as I am going to try to maintain them so that they become everyday. Care to share your acts of kindness?
Some of my little notes to my daughter:

I love your idea of celebrating Valentine’s Day by doing acts of kindness!
Thank you! I have been doing them all and enjoying the happiness they give (although ironically not much yesterday as I was poorly!)
